About the Project
This project brought together a complete set of custom wedding print materials, ranging from invitations and signage to keepsakes with playful touches. Each piece was thoughtfully designed to complement the venue’s rustic charm while enhancing the overall wedding experience. Carefully chosen details, colors, and typography worked together to create a cohesive, visually engaging celebration that felt both classic and enchantingly magical.
The bride collaborated closely with Christina on most of the materials, especially the invitation suite, providing a strong vision that guided the work. For select pieces, such as the children’s coloring sheet, the designer had the opportunity to explore creative solutions. While the illustrations in the coloring sheet were sourced externally, the overall layout, typography, and integration ensured a seamless, cohesive design throughout the suite.
The Challenges
One of the primary challenges was designing within a well-defined aesthetic vision while still ensuring cohesion across a wide range of printed items. Each piece needed to feel intentional on its own yet clearly belong to a unified system.
Additionally, the scope of materials varied greatly in function and format, from formal invitations to playful elements like koozies and coloring sheets. Balancing elegance with approachability, and sentiment with clarity, required careful typographic and layout decisions throughout the project.
The Solution
Christina developed a cohesive visual language rooted in refined typography, warm tones, and subtle rustic influences that complemented the barn setting without leaning into cliché. By maintaining consistent fonts, spacing, and hierarchy across all pieces, the suite achieved a seamless look, even as individual items served very different purposes.
Special attention was given to tactile and visual details, such as the custom digitally printed seal, which elevated the invitation suite and created a memorable first impression for guests.

The Execution
Each piece was thoughtfully designed with its physical context in mind, considering scale, readability, and print quality. This included specialty items such as custom Jack Daniel’s bottle labels created as groomsmen gifts, which extended the visual system beyond traditional paper goods and into keepsake items. The invitation suite established the visual foundation, which was then extended across signage, keepsakes, and personal touches throughout the venue.
Collaboration played a key role, particularly in integrating externally sourced illustrations into the coloring sheet while maintaining stylistic alignment with the rest of the suite. Final files were prepared with print production in mind to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
The Results
The final collection of wedding prints created a cohesive, immersive visual experience that supported the tone of the event and enhanced guest engagement. From the moment invitations were opened to the final details encountered at the venue, the materials reinforced a unified aesthetic and thoughtful storytelling.
This project demonstrates the designer’s ability to manage a multi-piece print system, collaborate with clients who have a strong vision, and execute designs that are both visually refined and emotionally resonant, all while adapting to the unique character of the event.
