Collaborative design and production for a custom debossed wedding invitation suite.

The couple provided inspiration photos, a fabric swatch for color matching, and the chosen wording for their wedding invitation suite. From these details, Christina designed a custom layout and coordinated pieces to reflect their preferred aesthetic.

Throughout the design process, she explored the technical requirements of debossed printing, learning how font weight and layout affect the depth and quality of the impression. The letterpress plate required thicker fonts and fewer fine lines for a more defined result—knowledge she carried forward after observing that the main invitation pressed less deeply than the RSVP and detail cards.

Christina also joined the letterpress operators during production to help monitor color consistency. After establishing the perfect sample, she oversaw the printing process, signaling when to pause for re-inking to maintain a uniform finish across every piece.
